Tetracycline (INN) is a broad-spectrum polyketide antibiotic produced by the Streptomyces genus of Actinobacteria, indicated for use against many bacterial infections. It is a protein synthesis inhibitor. It is commonly used to treat acne today, and, more recently, rosacea, and played a historical role in reducing the incidence of mortality because of cholera. It is sold under the brand names Sumycin, Terramycin, Tetracyn, and Panmycin, among others.
Ampicillin (originally branded as 'Penbritin') also demonstrated activity against Gram-negative organisms such as H. influenzae, coliforms and Proteus spp.

 

Amoxicillin (INN), formerly amoxycillin (BAN), amoxycillin (cilamox) in Australia[1], abbreviated Amox,Tormoxin (in India), is a moderate-spectrum, bacteriolytic, b-lactam antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections caused by susceptible microorganisms. It is usually the drug of choice within the class because it is better absorbed, following oral administration, than other b-lactam antibiotics. It is also a treatment for cystic acne.
Amoxicillin is susceptible to degradation by b-lactamase-producing bacteria, and so may be given with clavulanic acid to decrease its susceptibility.
